About Us
Pastor Joe and Margie Parrillo have been married for over 20 years and served in ministry together for close to 25 years. They moved to North Carolina in 2015 from New Jersey and have called the RDU area home since 2019. During this time, they have developed a deep love for the city of Raleigh, particularly NC State students. They have two grown children and four grandchildren.
Joe graduated from Fuller Theological Seminary in the School of World Missions with a degree in Cross-Cultural Missions. He is passionate about mobilizing individuals and teams to hear God’s heart for global missions. Margie is a therapist and beliefs trainer with decades of ministry experience in clinical social work. She desires to see healing and wholeness in the lives of young adults and college students, and to help them discover their purpose and HOPE as they learn to believe the TRUTH of their identity in Christ.
A Vision to Reach Generations
IgniteGEN Missions was born from a passion to reach the NEXT GENERATION with the love of Jesus Christ and the heart of the Father. We are spiritual parents seeking to inspire sons and daughters to discover faith, meaning and purpose. In an open, safe environment, we will discuss the meaning of life and the claims and teachings of Jesus.
Through the IgniteGen Missions Team at NC State, we will take students on a mission trip to demonstrate the love of God to others. We provide training in the basics of Christianity and its application in a cross-cultural context. Student leadership will grow as we plan, raise funds, and become “solutionists” on the mission field in addressing real human needs and spiritual poverty.
